• CM Punk To Be Out Of Action For 8 Months (Details)

As we all know by now, AEW World Champion CM Punk’s comments at the All Out media scrum resulted in a fight backstage.

Punk threw punches at Young Bucks, AEW Producer & Punk’s friend Ace Steel bit Kenny Omega & pulled his hair and Nick Jackson got hit in the eye with a chair.

Reports then came out that Punk got injured during this fight.

While Punk did get injured on Sunday, he didn’t suffer the injury during the fight. Punk actually got injured during his All Out main event match against Jon Moxley.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the former 2-time AEW World Champion will be out of action for 8 months now:

“He may have already undergone surgery, but either way, he’s undergoing surgery. It was not confirmed that it’s a torn triceps, but it was confirmed it’s a torn muscle on the arm. That’s usually an 8-month recovery period, so he was gonna get stripped of the title anyway.”

Tony Khan stripped Punk and The Elite (Kenny Omega & Young Bucks) of their Titles on last night’s Dynamite.

• Old School WCW Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WCW Veteran Lodi (Real name: Bradley Cain) celebrates his 52nd birthday today.

Lodi wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling promotion from November 1997 until April 2000.

He made a name for himself as a member of a faction called “Raven’s Flock”, carrying a variety of signs during his entrance.

In 1999, he formed a Tag Team with Lenny Lane, called The West Hollywood Blondes, but after complains from GLAAD to TNT offices, their gimmick was removed from television.

Lodi was let go in 2000 after he got addicted to pain killers and also had a drinking problem.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LODI!
