• Since his return to the company after almost 10 years, WWE has used CM Punk to drive ticket sales and capitalize on merchandise profits. Interestingly, Punk’s dog, Larry, has also become a surprising source of revenue for WWE.
According to WrestleVotes, Larry’s merchandise on WWE Shop has sold exceptionally well, even outselling several WWE roster stars:
“Some merchandising news. We are told WWE was absolutely thrilled with the initial run items of Larry, the dog. CM Punk’s dog so much so we are told to expect multiple new Larry items to be featured upon CM Punk return to TV.
A source did say Larry the dog outdrew several current superstars as well as WWE Legends on WWE Shop over the course of his merchandising release.
He did have a T-shirt. He did have, I believe a stuffed dog is either in the works or on the way.”

• Former 5-time Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett works as a Commentator on WWE RAW nowadays. Though he hasn’t wrestled in years, WWE seems interested in bringing him back for a brief in-ring storyline.
Since Triple H assumed creative control in July 2022, several wrestlers have made their returns, prompting fans to speculate whether Barrett, who last competed in 2016, might also step back into the ring.
WrestleVotes reported WWE’s potential plans to reignite a major rivalry for Drew McIntyre, noting that WWE is considering a short-term feud featuring Barrett, despite his current role on RAW alongside Joe Tessitore.
While there’s no plan for Barrett to wrestle full-time, sources suggest WWE is keen on a temporary comeback for the former Nexus leader specifically to face McIntyre.
Barrett (age 44), who last competed on April 4, 2016 on an episode of RAW, is reportedly in excellent shape and has previously expressed interest in returning to the ring to take on McIntyre.
