• Cody Rhodes Gives An Update On His Eye Injury
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes suffered an eye injury during his match at WrestleMania 42 – Night 1 after taking a heavy shot from Randy Orton just before the sequence that led into the RKO on referee Charles Robinson.
During the WrestleMania 42 Sunday Countdown Show, Jackie Redmond revealed that Cody is not medically cleared and suffered an orbital socket injury. He also needed 3 sutures to the face and 4 staples to the back of the head. She also revealed that Cody’s eye is still shut.
Cody posted the following update on his Instagram story: “‘You won’t lose the eye…’ has to be the most positive yet absurd thing I’ve ever heard in a doctor’s office.”
Rhodes appeared on this week’s RAW and teased an Undisputed WWE Championship match against CM Punk.

In a shocking revelation from the new Netflix series “Hulk Hogan: Real American,” the late 3-time WWE Hall of Famer admitted he was taking enough fentanyl to kill a human being just to get through his final years in the ring.
The documentary, which features Hogan’s last interview before he passed away in 2025, details a dark period in his life following his 2009 divorce from his wife, Linda.
Hogan explained that the divorce left him broke, forcing him to sign a contract with TNA Wrestling because he desperately needed the money. However, years of injuries had destroyed his back, making it nearly impossible for him to perform.
His back was in such bad shape that even moving a finger caused full-body spasms. He couldn’t even lie down in a bed and had to sleep in a chair.
To keep wrestling, he started using extreme amounts of fentanyl, including high-dose patches on his legs and fentanyl lollipops.
“I was taking 80 mg fentanyls, two in the morning, stuffing them under my gums here. I had two 300 mg patches of fentanyl on my legs and they gave me six 1500 mg fentanyl lollipops to eat.”
The sheer amount of drugs Hogan was using left medical professionals stunned.
“I went to the pharmacy, he goes, ‘You should be dead. We have never seen a human being take this much fentanyl.'”
For those who don’t know, Fentanyl is a highly potent synthetic opioid, approved for medical use as a pain reliever and anesthetic, that is primarily known today for its role in a severe, often fatal, illicit drug crisis. It is estimated to be 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine.
Hogan eventually left TNA in 2013 when his contract ended, having wrestled his final match a year earlier.
