• “Cody Rhodes is not going to add one eyeball to WWE” – Former WWF Writer

As we all know by now, Cody Rhodes signed a contract with WWE earlier this month and he’s scheduled to return at WrestleMania 38.

Current plan is for him to show up on Night 2 on April 3rd, also known as WrestleMania Sunday, to collide with Seth Rollins.

After that, he’s expected to be a part of the RAW brand.

On SK Wrestling’s Legion Of RAW podcast, former WWF Writer Vince Russo had the following to say about Cody’s return to WWE:

“Bro, Cody Rhodes is not going to add one eyeball to this show, not one. I want everybody to write down what the rating is pre-Cody and what the rating will be after Cody.

Bro, let me make one thing perfectly straight, it’s not Cody’s fault, just like it wasn’t CM Punk’s fault, it was not CM Punk’s fault how he just became another name on the roster.

Bro, this is not going to make one hill of beans difference to people who are not watching the show.”
