• Cody Rhodes’ promo on The Rock on this week’s RAW was very similar to the one he cut about Chris Jericho on AEW Dynamite in 2019.
On RAW, Cody said the following to The Rock:
“Rock, you are also a terrible salesman. A carny succubus. And for those who don’t know what that means – it means you’re a whiny b*tch.”
On Dynamite in 2019, Cody said the following to Jericho:
“You call me an entitled millennial, I call you a carny succubus.”
Cody additionally remarked that both Rock (on RAW) and Jericho (on Dynamite) perceive themselves as more significant than the current generation of wrestlers and rely on them significantly more than vice versa.
• Former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee has turned 37. Her husband, current WWE Superstar CM Punk, wrote the following about her birthday:
“Happy Birthday to my best friend. The love of my life. Smartest most delicious big brained lady with an a$$ that don’t quit. My wife! @theajmendez”
In 2021, Punk said AJ won’t return to the ring due to her neck issues:
“The reason she stopped wrestling is because of her neck. She’s got a bad neck, you know. I wouldn’t want her to jeopardize health and neither would she, so we’ll put an end to that rumor right now.”
AJ Lee’s final match took place on the March 30th 2015 episode of WWE RAW, where she teamed up with Paige & Naomi to defeat The Bella Twins & Natalya.
