Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Carmella.
• After last night’s SmackDown went off the air, Cody Rhodes teamed up with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins to take on Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh and NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio in the dark (untelevised) main event of the night.
The babyfaces picked up the win here to send the fans home happy.
In the post-match segment, Chicago fans began chanting for CM Punk. This led to The American Nightmare saying the following:
“Well… we’re kind of at a loss what to do here.”

• Earlier this month, Carmella and Corey Graves became parents, as the former Women’s Champion gave birth on November 8th.
Below is what she posted:
“Dimitri Paul Polinsky
11.8.23 8lbs 21 inches
…well worth the 60 hour labor (more on that another day)”
While answering questions on Instagram, Carmella revealed that she suffered nerve damage while giving birth:
“I have nerve damage in my right foot from pushing this bubs out of me. So, the entire side of my right foot is numb. It’s difficult to move my toes, so it makes it hard to walk.”
