• Cody Rhodes Reportedly Lied About Getting A Big Money Offer From WWE

During a recent appearance on Fight Forever Wrestling’s production of Bruce Prichard’s Something To Wrestle podcast in the UK, former WWE Superstar and current IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes answered some fan questions.

Cody was asked about the possibility of returning to WWE and Cody revealed that he passed on an offer from WWE a few weeks ago.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer discussed this topic and talked about how Cody turned down a “main event money” offer from WWE, but that might not be the case.

According to Brad Shepard, WWE officials didn’t offer Cody big time money to return to the company. So it’s either Cody hyping himself and Meltzer doing him a favour by hyping him even more, or Meltzer was given false information because there was no offer from WWE.
