Following a series of three intense matches with Brock Lesnar in 2023, Cody Rhodes has shared the unusual gift he received from Lesnar after their feud ended.
Their rivalry culminated in a final showdown at SummerSlam 2023, where The American Nightmare defeated The Beast, who even gave him a post-match hug as a gesture of respect.
On the Flagrant podcast, Rhodes disclosed that Lesnar sent him a generous gift of steaks after their matches. Praising Lesnar’s professionalism, Rhodes described him as incredibly easy to work with and one of the most professional people he knows.
Lesnar, who owns a farm in Canada, sent Rhodes steaks equivalent to an entire cow and even included a photo of himself with the cow to emphasize his farming roots. Rhodes appreciates Lesnar as a legend who exemplifies professionalism in their work together.

“I’ll ruin it for some. His professionalism is so underrated. Oh wow, he is one of, if not the most professional and understanding of what we wanted. He sent me some of his — he has a farm in Canada.
I hope you’re not mad at me for sharing this, but he sent me an entire cow worth of steaks, and he took a picture of himself with the cow because he does it all as a real farmer.
I thought, what a legend! But yeah, he was the utmost professional with me.”
Lesnar hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since his loss to Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023.
Fightful Select recently reported that there are currently no plans for Lesnar to return to WWE. A source denied the recent claim made by WrestleVotes, stating, “There are no creative plans for Lesnar, and if talks have happened, we haven’t been informed.”
The report also mentioned that no new producers have been assigned for Lesnar, and his name has been kept off TV in recent months. People close to Cody, who referenced Lesnar on a recent episode of RAW, said they haven’t heard of any changes regarding his status.
Fightful added that there haven’t been any creative ideas for Lesnar in months, with one source suggesting it’s unlikely he’ll return while the feds are investigating the Vince McMahon allegations.
