• Cody Rhodes Reveals What Went Wrong With His Neck Tattoo

Cody Rhodes revealed his American Nightmare neck tattoo to the world at the AEW Revolution 2020 pay-per-view.

During an appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast, Cody revealed that the tattoo ended up being double the size of what it should’ve been.

Below is what he said:

“I wish I had taken a break because I didn’t know it was double the size of the drawing I saw.

I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m wrestling in two days.’ He said either do it months out or two days before. I don’t know if it was a mistake or I wasn’t paying attention. A lot of people were like, ‘Neck? Neck?’

My boss at the time was like, ‘No way, it’s not going to be your neck.’ Then I walk into the production meeting and Jim Ross is stunned. The whole meeting was just staring at it, not listening to anything.”

Cody also noted that he wanted the tattoo on his neck because that wouldn’t be easy to hide and his brand would be always be visible.

His wife, Brandi Rhodes, has noted in the past that she’s not a fan of this tattoo.
