• Cody Rhodes Set For 1st Time Ever Match On SmackDown
Cody Rhodes appeared on Friday’s episode of SmackDown to settle the differences between Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens, which eventually he was able to.
On Saturday’s SmackDown LowDown talk show, Cody cut a promo and was interrupted by Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci of Imperium.
Kaiser mocked Cody for winning the Men’s Royal Rumble 2023 match from the #30 entry and sarcastically called Cody a “hero” for eliminating Intercontinental Champion Gunther in the end to win, who was the #1 entry and had been in the match for 70 minutes.
The American Nightmare then said that wrestling is all about wins & losses, and challenged Kaiser to a match, which was then made official.
