– Tonight’s episode of RAW kicked off with Cody Rhodes calling out Brock Lesnar.
Brock’s theme music hit, but he didn’t come out. Brock’s music hit again and Cody decided to go backstage to look for him, and The Beast attacked Cody with a Steel Chair.
Lesnar hit Rhodes with the F5 on the floor, right in front of Cody’s mother at ringside, and locked in the Kimura Lock multiple times.
The Beast then accepted The American Nightmare’s challenge by shouting the following:
“Challenge accepted. I’ll you see you at SummerSlam, b*tch.”

– Intercontinental Champion Gunther def. Matt Riddle
After the match, Gunther called out Drew McIntyre.
– Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley attacked WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Raquel Rodriguez backstage and hurt her knee.
– The Judgment Day came out for a promo segment. “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio said he’s going to become the NXT North American Champion tomorrow night, by defeating Wes Lee.
Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest guaranteed to become the World Heavyweight Champion, but said Finn Balor will get the shot at Seth Rollins first.
Balor thanked Priest and said his feud with Rollins won’t be over until he wins the World Title.
Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens came out and Owens decided that their match against Dominik & Priest tonight will now be for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.
– Despite being hurt, Raquel Rodriguez told Adam Pearce that she wants to go ahead with her & Liv Morgan’s scheduled Women’s Tag Team Championship defense tonight.
– Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville def. Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez (c) to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
The new champions got a big pyro celebration after the match.
– In a backstage interview, Byron Saxton asked Chelsea & Sonya about their title win and how it was basically a 2-on-1 situation. Sonya then called Raquel’s injury fake and that her tag team with Chelsea has been the best since they joined forces.
– Finn Balor interrupted World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins’ sit-down interview backstage. Balor told Rollins to tell Adam Pearce to make their World Title rematch official for SummerSlam 2023.
Rollins said Balor needs to stop living in the past, and Balor said he isn’t, as he’s living in chaos, and he’s going to do what Rollins did to him 7 years ago. Balor said he’s going to take Seth’s career and alter it forever.
Seth challenged Finn to do something right now or get the hell out of his face. Finn got up and left. Finn then attacked Seth out of nowhere and told him to make the match.
– The Viking Raiders def. Alpha Academy in a Viking Rules Match
– Shayna Baszler def. Nikki Cross
After the match, Ronda Rousey said she wasn’t handed anything, she took it, just like her every other major accomplishment. Rousey then said:
“I’m the greatest combat sports athlete of all time. You are just a knock-off version of me.”
Baszler said what she does in the ring makes her a better Ronda Rousey than Ronda herself. Baszler then challenged Rousey to a match. Rousey said:
“I’m finally going to get you booked at SummerSlam. I’ll see you in Motor City, b*tch.”
– Becky Lynch appeared on Miz TV and called out Trish Stratus and asked for a rematch. Trish Stratus agreed to it, but has some conditions.
Trish said Becky failed to defeat Zoey Stark, so she’ll have to do that first. Trish then said when Becky loses to Zoey again, Becky will have to go down on her knees and say “Thank You, Trish” and will have to tattoo the same on her chest.
Becky agreed to it. Trish & Zoey then attacked Becky, but Becky fought back and took off Trish’s face protective mask. Becky wore the mask herself and hit Zoey a headbutt with it.
– Ricochet challenged Logan Paul to appear on next week’s RAW. Logan took to Social Media to accept the challenge.
– Bronson Reed def. Shinsuke Nakamura via DQ after Tommaso Ciampa interfered and attacked Reed
Nakamura got angry at Ciampa and attacked him.
– In a backstage interview, Nakamura said he’s tired of people interfering in his business. When the interviewer asked why he attacked Ciampa, Nakamura shouted the same thing again.
It looks like a change in character is coming for Nakamura.
– Before the main event was about to start, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins attacked Finn Balor. Finn ran to the backstage area and Seth followed.
– Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens (c) def. Judgment Day (Mr. Money In The Bank Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) to retain the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley interfered in the match, as she pushed Owens into the steel ring steps. She also tried to distract the referee, which resulted in Liv Morgan running out and brawling with Ripley.
In the ending moments of the match, Sami was about to hit Dominik with the Helluva Kick, but Priest stopped him and was about to hit the Chokeslam, but Owens entered the ring and hit Priest with a Stunner.
Zayn then hit Dirty Dom with the Helluva Kick and pinned him to pick up the win for his team and retain the Titles.
