– Malcolm Bivens said he has signed Tyler Rust to the Bivens Brand. Bivens says Rust had a great debut last week against Tommaso Ciampa, and that he will prove he is a Diamond in the Rust
– Isaiah “Swerve” Scott def. Jake Atlas
– In a backstage interview segment, Velveteen Dream talked about how the Undisputed Era has fallen and called Adam Cole the cheerleader of NXT. Cole slapped Dream and called him a moron, and said he’s going to show him tonight that Undisputed Era still runs NXT
– Rhea Ripley def. Dakota Kai (Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez brawled after the match and had to be separated)
– Johnny Gargano got a PS5 for Christmas. Indi Hartwell got the PS5 Box and the name “Indi Wrestling”
– In a backstage interview, Toni Storm was asked what’s next for her, and she said she’s going to take the NXT Women’s Championship as she’s the only woman in NXT that Io Shirai can’t beat. Toni said she has already defeated Io to win the Mae Young Classic, and can do it again for the title
– Bronson Reed def. Ashante Adonis
– NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai came to the ring and called out Toni Storm, but got attacked from behind by Mercedes Martinez
– Leon Ruff def. Timothy Thatcher (Thatcher went after Ruff after the match, but Tommaso Ciampa showed up and laid out Thatcher. Ciampa then challenged Thatcher to a match in the Fight Pit, which will take place at New Year’s EVIL)
– Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Gonzalez in a Last Woman Standing match will take place at New Year’s EVIL
– Tyler Rust def. Ariya Daivari
– William Regals grants Leon Ruff a rematch for the NXT North American Championship against Johnny Gargano next week
– Karrion Kross said he’s going to get back what he never lost – the NXT Championship
– Adam Cole def. Velveteen Dream (Pete Dunne attacked Roderick Strong at ringside during this match, and they’ll have a match next week)

It was broadcasted from the Ice Palace in Tampa, Florida and featured pre-taped matches, interviews & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1997’ PPV.
