– The AEW World Championship #1 Contenders Tournament will begin next week. Below are the matches that will take place in this eliminator tournament:

– MJF called out Chris Jericho. MJF said they are the biggest draws in AEW and since Jericho is The Demo God, he is The Ratings Ruler and thinks it might be time for him to join The Inner Circle. Jericho offered MJF to join him for a Steak Dinner next week to discuss him possibly joining the Inner Circle

– Cody Rhodes vs. Orange Cassidy for the TNT Championship ended in a 20 Minute Time Limit Draw (Cody Rhodes vs. Darby Allin for the TNT Championship is the first match announced for AEW Full Gear 2020 pay-per-view) – Cody Rhodes brought back his blonde look on tonight’s episode
– Matt Hardy returned and said he’s cleared to return to in-ring action. Sammy Guevara interrupted and said he’s not done with Matt until he sends him back home for good
– Private Party vs. John Silver & Alex Reynolds vs. The Butcher & The Blade vs. The Young Bucks is announced for next week with the winners facing FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at AEW Full Gear 2020 PPV. All four teams then went at it
– Hikaru Shida (c) def. Big Swole to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship
– Jon Moxley (c) def. Lance Archer in a No DQ match to retain the AEW World Championship (Archer attacked Moxley after the match, but Eddie Kingston and Lucha Brothers made the save for Moxley. Kingston reminded Moxley that they used to be friends and congratulated him on his win, but ended up choking him out)
