Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite has already been taped at the Cardiff Utilita Arena in Cardiff, Wales. Below are the complete spoilers:
– Mercedes Mone and Britt Baker had a contract signing for their TBS Women’s Championship match at All In. Britt hit Kamille, who then collided with Mercedes.
– FTW Champion Chris Jericho def. “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington
Hook confronted Jericho after the match. Big Bill laid out Hook with a chokeslam.
– “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) def. Saraya to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship
Mariah May attacked Storm after the match with the shoe.
– AEW American Champion MJF and Will Ospreay exchanged heated words, with MJF taunting that the Tiger Driver is Ospreay’s only chance to beat him, but claiming Ospreay is too scared to use it. MJF then brought up Ospreay’s wife, prompting Ospreay to ask Tony Schiavone how much a fine would be if he punched MJF. Schiavone conveyed it would be £100,000, but Ospreay decided it was worth it. As security tried to intervene, MJF took the opportunity to hit Ospreay with the diamond ring. MJF then hinted at using the Tiger Driver himself, but security stepped in.
– “Hangman” Adam Page told Renee Paquette that he’ll be a part of the Casino Gauntlet Match at All In. Evil Uno then revealed that he’s going to be in this match as well. Page attacked Uno.
– Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli for the AEW Continental Championship ended in a 20-minute time limit draw
– Darby Allin & FTR def. TNT Champion Jack Perry & AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks
After the match, The Acclaimed came out and vowed to win the Tag Team Titles this Sunday at All In.
– Renee Paquette interviewed a busted open Will Ospreay backstage, but before he can speak, Bryan Danielson interrupted and shouted at Ospreay to “do it” (referring to using the Tiger Driver on MJF).
– Nigel McGuinness introduced AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, praising him as the franchise player. Nigel highlighted Bryan Danielson’s physical condition and asked Swerve how it feels to be the overwhelming favorite for their match at All In.
The crowd was loud with support for Swerve, who declared himself the most dangerous man in AEW. Swerve acknowledged Bryan’s legendary status and their shared roots in Washington but felt disrespected by Bryan’s talk of retirement, viewing it as an insult to him as the World Champion.
Swerve eventually mentioned Bryan’s family, prompting Bryan to come out and hit him with a running knee. Bryan then declared himself the “best f**king wrestler” in the world and asked the fans if he can defeat Swerve for the AEW World Title, leading the crowd to chant “YES!”.
