WWE taped tonight’s episode of SmackDown from The O2 in London. Below are the results for tonight’s show:
– SmackDown kicks off with “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns coming out and introducing The Miz. Shane McMahon comes out and bans Miz from the show. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan come out, followed by Elias. All the heels attack Reigns & Miz and this leads to The Usos making the save.
– Backstage segment with Shane McMahon: Shane books Roman Reigns & The Usos vs. Elias, Shane O’Mac, Daniel Bryan & Rowan. Shane adds that if Miz interferes, then his Money In The Bank 2019 match will be cancelled.
– Andrade def. Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Ali & Randy Orton in a Fatal 4 Way match. Andrade began climbing up the ladder to unhook the Money In The Bank briefcase, but was stopped by Ricochet. Ricochet then climbed the ladder and unhooked the Money In The Bank briefcase.
– Backstage segment with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods: Kofi asks Woods to let him face Kevin Owens alone tonight.
– Charlotte Flair cuts an in-ring promo about her SmackDown Women’s Championship match against Becky Lynch this Sunday at Money In The Bank 2019.
– Video promo for Aleister Black airs.
– Video promo for Lacey Evans airs.
– Shane McMahon, Elias and SmackDown Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan & Rowan def. The Usos & Roman Reigns. The Miz saved Reigns & Usos after the match.
– Backstage promo segment with Paige & Ember Moon.
– Asuka & Kairi Sane def. Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville. Paige announced in a pre-match promo that Asuka & Kairi will be known as ‘Kabuki Warriors’.
– Kevin Owens cuts a promo backstage, but is interrupted by WWE Champion Kofi Kingston’s music. Kofi goes to the ring and calls out Owens. Owens comes out and they fight on the entrance ramp. Sami Zayn comes out to help Owens and this leads to Xavier Woods coming out to help Kofi. Woods & Kingston beat up the heels and stand tall to end the show.
