Rhea Ripley has been absent from WWE since last month due to a shoulder injury. The setback forced her to relinquish her Women’s World Championship, a title Liv Morgan won from Becky Lynch yesterday at the King & Queen of the Ring premium live event in Saudi Arabia..

During her time away from the ring, Ripley shared a poignant update from her younger sister, Calista.

In a heartfelt post, Calista revealed that their grandmother had passed away on April 19th at the age of 91. Ripley echoed this update, expressing the family’s grief.

Although Ripley’s grandmother passed away over a month ago, the family chose to keep the news private to allow themselves time to mourn in peace.

Earlier today, Calista shared the news on Instagram, accompanied by a touching image of the three women together, which Ripley subsequently shared.

Quotes I will remember from you is

‘Always keep smiling’ & ‘Driving is like a game of monopoly, you never know what other people are going to

You are all around us, in the night sky we will search for the red star, and in the ocean we will think of you.”
