Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, featuring The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
• The Rock’s beloved dog, Hobbs, has passed away. He issued the following statement:
“RIP Hobbs
I’ve been numb over this loss, but we’re so grateful for every ounce of pure love he gave our entire family and we’re so grateful he didn’t suffer long as he quietly and bravely left in the night.
Lately, there’s been a lot that’s too big to talk about. Lonesome, lonely, heard it’s all the same.
One of my favorite songs felt appropriate here, as I wonder what’s going on his new world, because I know what it’s like in mine.

Rock also shared the following photos:
• Last year, Stone Cold Steve Austin said he’ll be ready if WWE Champion Cody Rhodes wants his help at WrestleMania 41. This began speculation that Austin might return for one more match.
However, Austin will not be wrestling at WrestleMania 41, as he recently underwent a total knee replacement in December.
According to Fightful Select, a match would be a “miracle,” though a non-wrestling appearance remains possible:
“If you mean like wrestling, no, that would be a miracle. He had a total knee replacement in December. Coming out and throwing some beers or something? Maybe. But I haven’t heard of anything yet.”
Austin has admitted he delayed the surgery for years and initially pushed himself too hard during recovery.
