• Conor McGregor Announces Retirement From MMA, Appearing At WrestleMania 35?

UFC’s 1st ever simultaneous two-division World Champion Conor McGregor has announced his retirement from the sport of MMA.

McGregor, who became the biggest draw in the history of UFC (by beating Brock Lesnar’s record for PPV buys), has retired with a record of 21-4.

McGregor lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in his final fight by submission. This was his second loss in the UFC.

McGregor main evented 4 out of the 6 highest bought UFC PPVs ever. In his final fight, he set the record for the highest bought UFC PPV ever as UFC 229 drew 2.4 million PPV buys.

McGregor also crossed over to Boxing to have a big money fight with the undefeated Floyd Mayweather in 2017, which he lost.

While Balor most likely is just hyping up wrestling fans with this tweet, an appearance at WrestleMania 35 by Conor McGregor still can’t be ruled out due to the fact that WWE has tried to get him to work WrestleMania before as well.
