• Conor McGregor Reacts To Nate Diaz Taking A Shot At Him At UFC 279

In the main event of tonight’s UFC 279 pay-per-view, Nate Diaz defeated Tony Ferguson via Submission.

This win was Nate’s first finish in UFC since he submitted Conor McGregor back in 2016.

This was Nate’s final fight in the UFC as his contract has expired.

In the post-fight interview with Joe Rogan, Nate said he’s going to take over others sports now and show the UFC fighters how it’s done, because McGregor doesn’t know how to do it.

He also said eventually he’s going to return and become UFC Champion one day.

McGregor tweeted the following after hearing Diaz’s comments:

“Ah come on bro I’m absolutely stinking. And with so much quality. This has never been seen before what I’m doing man. Please, Your nothing with out me. Respect, please.

I’d slap you around handy. And Tony easy. I’d have sawed Tony in half. 2 ham ball heads.

Respect the king.”

Prior to the fight, Conor tweeted the following about Nate’s final UFC fight:

“Congrats Nate Diaz on making it to the end of his contractual obligations with the UFC, and as a bonafide superstar goer. An incredible feat. Fair play.
Our trilogy will happen.”
