• Old School WWF Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 61st birthday of Old School WWF Legend “Doink The Clown” Matt Borne (Real name: Matthew Osborne).
He played the original Doink, which was a Heel gimmick, before others took over and the character turned babyface.
Pretty much everyone considers him to be by far the very best to ever play the role of Doink.
In 1991 & 1992, Matt also wrestled for World Championship Wrestling under the name ‘Big Josh’.

• Contracts Of Top WWE Stars Expiring Soon, NJPW Interested In Signing SmackDown Live Star
According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, contracts of WWE Champion AJ Styles, United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and former RAW Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson are set to expire soon.
Styles and Nakamura signed 3 year deals with WWE back in 2016 and their contracts are set to expire in January 2019.
Meltzer noted that New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) is very much interested in signing Nakamura and bringing him back to the company. No word yet on what Nakamura thinks about this.
On the other hand, Styles is expected to re-sign as he has been booked great ever since his WWE debut and gets paid very well too (he’s among the top 10 paid WWE wrestlers).
During an interview with Raute Musik earlier in March, Styles had the following to say regarding re-signing with WWE:
“I don’t see why not if I can do what I do. Like, if I can still be AJ Styles, then I would like to keep working in the WWE in a talent form. So as long as I can keep going, then I would like to keep working there.”
