Below are a couple of top TNA & WWE news stories of the day, featuring Tessa Blanchard and SmackDown.

• At TNA Final Resolution tonight, former IMPACT World Champion & Knockouts Champion Tessa Blanchard returned to the company and attacked Jordynne Grace.

In a backstage interview, Tessa said, “I’m taking what’s mine”, before shoving interviewer Gia Miller:

Fans on social media think this is a controversial move by TNA. In January 2020, several female wrestlers accused Blanchard of bullying and racism, including an incident where she allegedly spat in a black woman’s face and used a racial slur. The woman involved, Black Rose, later confirmed that the incident had occurred. Blanchard, however, denied the accusations.

• After tonight’s SmackDown went off the air, WWE taped next week’s episode of SmackDown. Below are the spoilers:

– The Bloodline cut a promo, but Drew McIntyre interrupted. When tensions escalated, McIntyre escaped through the crowd.

– The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga) vs. LA Knight, Andrade, and Apollo Crews ended in a No Contest when Jacob attacked Knight outside the ring

– Kevin Owens cut a promo on Cody Rhodes.

– Braun Strowman, dressed as Santa Claus, appeared on The Grayson Waller Effect. This led to a rematch against Carmelo Hayes.
