The Brock Lesnar – Cody Rhodes feud started on the RAW after WrestleMania 39.
They are 1-1 against each other. Cody won at Backlash and Brock won at Night Of Champions.
The rubber match is scheduled to take place at SummerSlam 2023, where this feud will most likely end.
While Lesnar hasn’t explained yet why he attacked The American Nightmare, Cody has speculated that it’s because he ended Brock’s run in the World Title picture.
A crazy theory about why Brock went after Cody went viral on Twitter, where a fan suggested that Paul Heyman is the one that cut a secret deal with The Beast, to take out Cody, so that Cody can’t come after his Tribal Chief again.
Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39, with the help of Solo Sikoa, to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Reigns vs. Rhodes II for the Undisputed Title is currently rumored for WrestleMania 40 in 2024.
Speaking of Cody, his upcoming documentary “American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes” will be released on Peacock on July 31st.
During the official trailer, Kevin Owens said the following while talking about Cody’s return to WWE in 2022:
“Vince McMahon flew to his house to get him back. Not many people can say they did that.”
