• Current Hope For Bray Wyatt’s Return

Bobby Lashley vs. Bray Wyatt is scheduled to take place at WrestleMania 39, but Wyatt hasn’t appeared on WWE programming as of late.

Wyatt was scheduled to face LA Knight at the recent WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden, but he didn’t appear there either.

The Wrestling Blog reported that Wyatt might miss WrestleMania 39 due to personal reasons, and the creative team has been told to stop writing for Wyatt until further notice.

Fightful Select then reported that Wyatt is out of action with an undisclosed physical issue, and it’s not a creative issue.

Lashley didn’t appear on last week’s RAW, but tweeted the following:

“I’ve worked too hard to be denied.

I will be ready to fight on the biggest stage of them all, WrestleMania.

I don’t care who it is, somebody will feel the wrath of the All-Mighty.”

This began speculation that Lashley vs. Wyatt might no longer be the plan.

However, that’s not the case. Wrestling Observer is reporting that this match is still scheduled to take place:

“From what I understand, the match is still on for WrestleMania, and he should be back very soon. That’s pretty much all I can say.

There is something to it, but I’m not at liberty to discuss it. As far as I know, everything I’ve been told is that it’s not a creative issue or anything like that.”

In an update from Xero News, the internal belief in WWE is that Wyatt will be back next week, which will be the WrestleMania week.
