• Current Plan For Cody Rhodes At WrestleMania 39

Former Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes is currently out of action with a torn pec.

However, his return is near (most likely at Royal Rumble 2023) and he will definitely be a part of WrestleMania 39.

Many fans want to see Cody win the Men’s Royal Rumble match and then challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39, but that might not happen because The Rock is expected to come back and win the Royal Rumble, and then go on to face The Tribal Chief.

With that being said, multiple sources are reporting that WWE will continue with the Cody Rhodes – Seth Rollins rivalry when Rhodes returns from injury, with a 4th PPV match between them taking place at WrestleMania 39, which will end their feud.

Cody beat Seth in 18 straight singles matches this year (this includes Live Events and Dark matches too).

Out of these 18 matches, 3 took place on PPV – WrestleMania 38, WrestleMania Backlash & Hell In A Cell.

He entered the Hell in a Cell match against Rollins with a torn pec and still won.

The next night on RAW, Rollins brutally assaulted Rhodes and Cody was written off WWE programming to undergo surgery and heal from his injury.
