On this day in 1988, the World Wrestling Federation aired an episode of their weekly TV show ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’.
It was broadcasted from the Arco Arena in Sacramento, California and featured pre-taped matches, promos & storyline segments on the road to the ‘WWF Royal Rumble 1989’ PPV.

• Current Plan For Ronda Rousey At Royal Rumble 2019
According to the Wrestling Observer, current plan for Royal Rumble 2019 is for RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey to face Charlotte Flair in a rematch.
Rousey & Flair faced each other at Survivor Series 2018 last month and Rousey won the match via DQ when Charlotte hit her with a Kendo Stick and decimated her.
As we noted before, WWE officials are planning to do the following matches between now and WrestleMania 35:
– Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair (Rematch)
– Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax
– Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch
If Rousey ends up facing Flair in a rematch at Royal Rumble 2019, then there’s a very strong possibility that we’re gonna get Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 35.
