Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Clash At The Castle and Tiffany Stratton.
• Drew McIntyre kicked off this week’s RAW and said that he will not waste any more time with CM Punk since Punk might not be cleared for 20 more years. Drew said that Damian Priest is the Paper World Champion, and RAW needs him to be Champion again.
Priest came out and said that Drew should look in a mirror and realize that he’s the only person to blame for his failures.
Damian said he will give Drew a shot for his World Heavyweight Title once Drew gets cleared to compete, and when he’s done he will make Drew eat those words.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship is the currently planned main event for Clash At The Castle 2024 on June 15 in Glasgow, Scotland, which is Drew’s home country.
• On tonight’s SmackDown, the following two Queen of the Ring tournament matches will take place:
– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair vs. Tiffany Stratton
– WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Jade Cargill vs. Nia Jax
Tiffany posted a video of her slapping Jade on her Instagram story, but added the voiceover of “black b*tch” over it.
Stratton faced backlash from fans over this and had to delete the video.

According to PWInsider, there’s no backstage heat on Stratton:
“After speaking to several credible sources, we are told she’s absolutely not in trouble for anything internally within WWE and that Stratton’s been nothing but praised by management and other talents since moving to the main roster a few months back.
Despite the rumors, we are told that Stratton’s status within the company is unchanged and she remains on good footing, as she’s seen as someone with a very high upside by management.”
