Below are some top WWE news stories of the day, involving WrestleMania and Jey Uso.

• According to the Wrestling Observer, here’s the working plan for the current main events of WrestleMania 40:

Night 1 – Seth Rollins (c) vs. CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship

Night 2 – Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship

Rollins has main evented WrestleMania before in 2015, but it was an impromptu match due to his Money In The Bank cash-in. Rollins has wanted a proper WrestleMania main event match with build-up for a long time and it looks like he’s going to get it in 2024.

Punk’s goal was to main event WrestleMania as well. The best he could do in his first run in WWE was be in the co-main event, when he faced The Undertaker with The Deadman’s 20-0 undefeated streak on the line at WrestleMania 29 in 2013. In this run, he will reach his goal of getting a WrestleMania main event under his belt.

• On this week’s RAW, “Yeet” was blurred out on Jey Uso’s top in a video package.

Jey Uso Yeet Blurred WWE RAW

WrestleVotes reported the following about it:

“WWE has found trademark issues with Jey Uso’s ‘Yeet’. The word & merchandising will no longer be associated with Uso going forward.”

In an update on this situation, it has been revealed that indy wrestler Kasey Huffman from West Virginia has owned the ‘Yeet’ trademark since 2021.

Drew McIntyre mocked Jey by posting the following “No Yeet” clip from Jimmy Uso:

After Jey lost to Seth Rollins in a World Heavyweight Championship match in the main event of RAW, McIntyre attacked him and suplexed him through the announce table.
