• D-Generation X Member Reveals He Never Liked CM Punk
CM Punk joined Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling in 2021 and managed to win the AEW World Title twice (and got injured during both reigns), but got suspended over a backstage brawl that took place after the All Out 2022 PPV.
On the new episode of his weekly ‘Oh…You Didn’t Know’ podcast, D-Generation X member The Road Dogg Jesse James (Brian Armstrong) revealed that he never liked Punk on a personal level, and is glad that more people agree with him nowadays, after they got to know the real man Phil Brooks behind the CM Punk character.
Here’s what the 2019 WWE Hall of Famer had to say:
“The truth be told, and this ain’t an I told you so, but it keeps coming out like one and I apologize for that. I knew how this guy was from dealing with him personally, but it finally seems like other people have seen how he is too now and it’s like, oh, okay, so he’s not the second coming. He’s just a man and he’s kind of a-hole. I don’t know how else to say it.”
The Road Dogg also commented on his upcoming appearance at next Monday’s 30 Year RAW Anniversary show, when he said the following:
“I think it is awesome and I can appreciate this one a little more because of where I’m at in my head and what chapter of my life I’m in and all that. It does mean a lot more to me now than it did five years ago.”
