• “Dangerous In The Ring” – WWE Veteran On Goldberg

On the newest episode of his weekly ‘Cafe de Rene’ podcast, WWE Ruthless Aggression Era Veteran René Duprée spoke about WCW Legend Bill Goldberg’s 2003 WWE run.

Here’s what the former La Résistance member had to say:

“As far as talent, Goldberg, yeah, because he was so goddamn dangerous in the ring. But he wasn’t there long too. He didn’t even do house shows, man.

I think he did one or two house show loops the whole time he was there. If you can get the deal, go for it. Good for you.”

Bill Goldberg wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1997 until 2001, including 1 reign as the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, before working for Vince McMahon’s WWE from 2003 to 2004, also including 1 reign as World Heavyweight Champion.

He eventually returned in 2016 and has been used a so called part-timer ever since.
