• Daniel Cormier Retires After Heavyweight Title Fight At UFC 252

In the main event of tonight’s UFC 252 pay-per-view, Stipe Miocic defeated Daniel Cormier via decision in a 5 round Heavyweight fight to retain the UFC Heavyweight Championship.

This was Cormier’s final MMA fight.

In the post-fight interview, Cormier addressed Miocic’s eye-poke and said that he can’t see anything from his left eye (although Cormier also eye-poked Miocic during the fight).

– Stipe Miocic (c) def. Daniel Cormier via Decision (unanimous) (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) in a 5 Round UFC Heavyweight (265 lbs) Championship Fight to retain the Title
