Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Bad Blood and Wyatt Sick6.
• WWE is reportedly considering reviving the Bad Blood (originally known as Badd Blood) pay-per-view event for an upcoming premium live event (PLE). The Bad Blood theme, which first emerged during the Attitude Era, was last used in 2004.
This event is best remembered for iconic matches such as The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels in the first ever Hell in a Cell match in 1997, Triple H vs. Kevin Nash in a Hell in a Cell match with Mick Foley as the special guest referee, and Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels in another Hell in a Cell main event.
According to PWInsider, WWE is looking to bring back the Bad Blood name for a PLE on October 5th (Saturday) at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. This date is significant as it marks the anniversary of the first-ever Hell in a Cell match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, which also featured the debut of the Kane character.
The plan for this PLE is to host a Hell in a Cell match as the main event.
• In the main event segment of this week’s RAW, Uncle Howdy returned and took out Chad Gable, Braun Strowman and others backstage.
The name of Uncle Howdy’s faction is “Wyatt Sick6”. Below is the logo:
Prior to Howdy’s return, WWE announced Braun Strowman vs. Chad Gable vs. Bronson Reed in a Money In The Bank qualifying match for next week’s RAW.
Reed tweeted the following after Gable and Strowman were attacked during this segment:
“So my opponents are ‘dead’???
@ScrapDaddyAP do I get in by default!!!!???
I mean, how could you not want this at MITB unless you’re a big BOZO!”
A fan asked Carmelo Hayes if he got attacked during this angle too. Here’s what Hayes replied:
“Nope, but are they dead?”
