• Dates For The 2021 WWE Draft, King Of The Ring & Queen Of The Ring
According to the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, below are the dates for the 2021 WWE Draft:
October 1 – SmackDown Draft
October 4 – RAW Draft
The King Of The Ring and Queen Of The Ring tournaments will run on RAW & SmackDown, with the finals of both tournaments taking place at the WWE Crown Jewel 2021 pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia, which will take place on October 21.
Below are the start dates for both these tournaments:
October 8 – Season Premiere Of SmackDown

• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday
Today would have been the 87th birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Mr. Wrestling II (Real name: John Walker).
After touring the NWA territories during the 50s, 60s, 70s & early 80s, he was signed by Vince McMahon’s World Wrestling Federation in 1984, when Vince bought ‘Georgia Championship Wrestling’ to get their timeslot on TBS.
The idea was to present GCW talent like him and The Spoiler on the WWF’s own version of ‘World Championship Wrestling’, the TV show they took over from GCW and later sold to Jim Crockett Promotions, so the fans would see some familiar faces that kept them interested in the new product.
Wrestling II didn’t last long and left the WWF in 1986.
He has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but due to the young kids of today not knowing who he is, it will likely be an induction into the ‘Legacy Wing’.
