On this day in Professional Wrestling history on July 13, 1997, WCW aired ‘WCW Bash at the Beach 1997’ live on PPV from The Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

This event marks nWo member Dennis “The Worm” Rodman’s PPV debut as a Wrestler, while still being under NBA contract for the Chicago Bulls. The main event saw Rodman team up with his close personal friend Hollywood Hogan against Team WCW consisting of Lex Luger & The Giant.

As the co-main event we got 2 Old School Legends wrestling each other, when “Rowdy” Roddy Piper took on “The Nature Boy” himself, Ric Flair.
