• Details For WWE’s UK PPV In 2022 Revealed

Fans have been asking WWE to start doing PPVs in UK again and it’s going to happen this year.

According to Wrestlevotes, WWE will be doing a premium live event (the new name for pay-per-views in WWE) on Saturday, September 3rd at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

This stadium has a capacity of 78,000. This show will be taking place during the same weekend as AEW’s All Out 2022 pay-per-view.

Back in 2020, Drew McIntyre said the following about pushing for a WWE PPV event in UK:

“That’s something I’m not just visualizing. It’s something I’m actively working and pushing and talking about whenever I do UK media.

I’m always trying to think outside the box. I’m trying to get — Tyson Fury seems to want to get involved in something.

If it takes getting a battle of Britain going to get a UK PPV, I don’t care. Just, all that matters is when the things get back to normal I want to get back home, I wanna get all five of us on an open top bus from the top of Scotland, take it right down through the UK to the bottom of England on a big tour.

Get the country rallied up, tell the world this is where there should be a PPV.”

Could we get Drew McIntyre vs. Tyson Fury at this UK PPV? We’ll keep you updated.
