In the main event of last night’s Slammiversary PPV, Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) defeated Moose (c), Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry in a 6-way elimination match to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Nemeth cut a backstage promo after the PPV went off the air, where he talked about his 20-year journey. Here’s what he said:
“I forced my hand because I’ve been on TV before and tonight with five other badass superstars in that ring, I somehow came out on top. Any other night you flip that coin, someone else wins.
Tonight, it was my night. You know why? Because after 20 long years of digging and scratching, sometimes that timing that everyone talks about, that timing is the best thing that could happen to you. And all of a sudden, TNA on its way to the top just keeps getting better.
Look in these eyes and tell me you don’t think [the TNA World Heavyweight Championship] is the premier championship in this business. And if you don’t, you’re wrong. And if you don’t believe me, try me. Any day, any time, any place, I will be there.”

TNA Slammiversary 2024 PPV, which was the 20th edition of Slammiversary, took place at the Verdun Auditorium in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Below are the results:

After the match, Steph De Lander (fka Persia Pirotta in WWE NXT) asked PCO to marry her and PCO said yes.

– TNA X-Division Championship Match: Mike Bailey def. Mustafa Ali (c) to win the Title
Ali brought out Earl Hebner as the referee and wanted Earl to screw over Bailey, but Earl refused to do another Montreal Screwjob.
