Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Dominik Mysterio, Liv Morgan, Ric Flair and John Cena.
• On last night’s RAW, Dominik Mysterio faced Jey Uso. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan came out during the match and Dominik fell on top of her again. Liv then got on top of Dominik and was enjoying herself.
Rhea Ripley came out and chased her away. Rhea then told Dominik to go back into the ring. Jey took advantage of a distracted Dominik and picked up the win.
After RAW went off the air, Dominik posted a GIF titled “please stop torturing me! and wrote the following about his intimate moment with Liv:

After losing to Jey, Dirty Dom met Rhea backstage. Rhea told Dominik she doesn’t belong to anyone, but Dominik is hers. She gave him a flower and left. They are a couple again.

• John Cena will have his retirement tour in 2025 and many fans want him to have one last World Title reign, which would make him a 17-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, thus surpassing Ric Flair’s recognized 16 World Title reigns record.
On Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair was asked if he’d have a problem with Cena breaking his record.
The Nature Boy said he wants his daughter, Charlotte Flair, to break the record, but doesn’t have any problem with Cena doing it and he would give his blessings to Cena:
“None. The honest to God truth. I think so much personally of John Cena. He’s just one of those really great guys, in my opinion. And I have known a few. In a perfect world, it would be my daughter which I think would be the biggest thing that could ever happen. I told her one time and she got upset. Not upset but she didn’t like the comparison.
I said ‘you’d would be as famous as Serena Williams if you broke that record that’s been there for so long’. She didn’t like the comparison but she’s as good an athlete as there is alive today.
If they do it with John, I have no problem. I’d be the first one to hit the ring and shake his hand. They’re meant to be broken. Sentimentally, I like it but – I’d hit the ring on John. I’d probably take a blade, jump him without telling anybody, have him make a comeback, and give me the same hold.
He was such a fan of mine and all that. I personally kind of agree with you. I don’t think he wants to pull the trigger on it.”
Flair also noted that he’s fine with Randy Orton breaking his record as well.
