The main event of AAA Guerra de Titanes (War of the Titans) event saw a high-stakes family showdown, but it may have come at a physical cost for Dominik Mysterio. During the heated tag team match in Guadalajara, Mexico, the current AAA Mega & WWE Intercontinental Champion appeared to suffer a shoulder injury while competing against his father, Rey Mysterio, and Rey Fenix.
The match itself was a major attraction, featuring Dominik and his partner El Grande Americano as the new “Los Gringos Locos 2.0.” They faced a unique pairing of Fenix and Rey Mysterio, the latter of whom stepped in as a late replacement for the injured Penta. While the Mysterio family rivalry drove the crowd nuclear, the focus shifted to Dominik’s health after he was seen clutching his shoulder during the closing moments of the contest.
Despite the possible injury, Dominik finished the match, which ultimately saw Rey Mysterio and Rey Fenix secure the win after Rey pinned Dirty Dom. Following the loss, a frustrated Dominik quickly grabbed his title belts and retreated backstage after shoving Americano. Americano ended up turning babyface by shaking Rey Mysterio’s hand.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, Dominik likely separated his shoulder during a DDT spot. The best scenario is that it’s a short-term injury. The worst scenario is he’ll require surgery and will have to relinquish both of his titles.

Omos returned and interfered in this match. attacked Lee and hit him with The Undertaker’s The Last Ride move. Omos then allowed Vikingo to pin Lee and then raised his hand.

Dirty Dom got pinned by his father in this match. Penta returned during this match. After the match, Americano helped Dominik get up, but Dominik shoved him and left, thus ending his business relationship with Americano. Americano then turned babyface by accepting Rey’s handshake.
