On the WWE King & Queen of the Ring Countdown Show (pre-show), Liv Morgan was being interviewed ahead of her Women’s World Championship match against Becky Lynch.
Dominik Mysterio interrupted and said the following to Liv:
“I flew all the way to Saudi Arabia to make sure you don’t get your hands on Mami’s World Championship.”
Speaking of today’s PLE, Randy Orton will face Gunther in the Finals of the King of the Ring 2024 tournament.
If Orton wins, he’ll earn a WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. If Gunther wins, he’ll earn a World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam.
Today, Orton will end his 3-year streak of not having a singles PLE match. His last singles match at a PLE was at WrestleMania 37 in 2021, where he defeated “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt.
