2. WWE Addressing Situation Regarding the Title Belts on Both Brands
As seen on the Draft edition of SmackDown Live this past week, 3 champions were drafted to Raw and 2 champions were drafted to SmackDown Live.
The WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte, United States Champion Rusev, and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day are now a part of Raw, while the Intercontinental Champion The Miz, and the WWE Champion Dean Ambrose are exclusive to SmackDown Live.
With this unequal distribution of championships on both brands (and possibly the Cruiserweight Championship being introduced on Raw), WWE will address the situations of the Title Belts in the coming weeks after Battleground 2016.
There were rumors of a second World Title Belt being introduced after Brand Extension, but those rumors were shot down and plans are for a single World Champion (who will appear on both Raw & Smackdown Live) to stay at the moment (at least till SummerSlam 2016).
