• 2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash shared on his Kliq This podcast that he’s preparing for surgery after tearing his biceps during a workout.
“It took me 5 days to get an MRI after I felt a snap in my shoulder while training,” he explained. Initially cleared to return to the gym, things worsened. “I did a single-arm biceps curl machine, and by the 9th rep, I felt my left biceps cramping. I knew it — I tore the biceps.”
Nash described the upcoming “tendinosis surgery,” which involves suturing the tendon back into place. “They’ll make an incision, weave sutures into the tendon, and fix it—hoping it hasn’t retracted too far. And while they’re at it, I told them to fix the motherf**ker completely. I’ve got a bone spur on my humerus and other issues they’ll clean up.”
The recovery process will take time, with six weeks required just to regain arm mobility. The injury has also delayed his plans for stem cell treatment for tendinitis. “I was going to get stem cells injected into my spine, but with my arm in a sling, that’s not happening anytime soon,” he said, humorously adding, “Looks like I’m not joining the PGA circuit until at least June.”
Nash remains focused on healing and is taking his recovery seriously. “I don’t have any work commitments, so I’m just going to get healthy,” he concluded, emphasizing a cautious approach to his return.
