• Drew McIntyre’s Hilarious Response After Loss To Cody Rhodes
In the opening match of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship.
During the ending moments of the match, Cody hit Drew with a DDT on top of the WWE Title belt behind the referee’s back, and followed it up with a Cross Rhodes for the win.
If the referee had seen Cody DDTing Drew on top of the title, Cody would’ve been disqualified, which would’ve resulted in Drew becoming the new WWE Champion due to the added stipulation.
Reacting to his loss, Drew posted footage of Cody’s famous line from an interview, imitating Ted DiBiase Jr. saying: “Where is that referee? He was trying to f**k on me.”

• Mercedes Moné Takes A Shot At WWE For Making Former AEW Stars Champions
In recent years, several top names from All Elite Wrestling have made the jump to WWE. Cody Rhodes kicked off the trend in 2022, followed by Jade Cargill and CM Punk in 2023.
Ricky Saints, one of AEW’s most promising up-and-coming stars, also joined WWE earlier this year and has since made a strong impression on NXT. He captured the NXT Championship at No Mercy in September to cement himself as the face of the developmental brand.
Saturday Night’s Main Event was a huge event for former AEW names. CM Punk defeated Jey Uso to become the new World Heavyweight Champion, while Jade Cargill dethroned Tiffany Stratton to capture the WWE Women’s Championship.
Additionally, Cody Rhodes successfully retained his Undisputed WWE Title against Drew McIntyre.
Following the event, Punk shared a backstage photo featuring himself, Cargill, Saints and Rhodes, all holding their respective championships.

Just a few moments after the image was posted, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné appeared to take a subtle dig at WWE.
She tweeted:
“AEW is everywhere.”
