5. Jim Ross Addresses Rumors of Him Going To TNA Again
Rumors once again started surfacing that WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross is working in some capacity in TNA Wrestling. Below is what JR had to say about these rumors:
“Whoever started the ‘JR to TNA’ rumors must have WAY too much time on their hands. Last I looked Josh Mathews and The Pope were handling the announcing on TNA just fine. Plus, isn’t the stellar Mike Tenay still on TNA’s payroll?”
“Same goes for my tongue in cheek remark about getting coffee for Kevin Kelly and Steve Corino at a ROH PPV and sitting in with them on a show. They, too, don’t need me but would I make a ‘one off’ cameo for a wrestling promotion if the stars were all aligned properly? Never say never. The key is ‘one off’ and it would take some convincing to get me to leave Norman and get on more airplanes.”
