6. Goldberg To Work Three PPV Events In 2017?
As we noted before, former WWE & WCW World Heavyweight Champion Bill Goldberg signed a new deal with WWE prior to his Survivor Series 2016 match with Brock Lesnar.
Goldberg is now contracted to make 13 appearances in the WrestleMania 33 season. While Goldberg would most probably work only two matches during his contract (the Royal Rumble 2017 match and the planned rematch with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33), there have been talks of him making three PPV appearances in 2017:
– Royal Rumble 2017
– FastLane 2017
– WrestleMania 33
FastLane 2017 is the Raw exclusive PPV before WrestleMania 33 and there have been talks of Goldberg making an appearance at that event (in a non-wrestling role).
