Since making their respective debuts on WWE 205 Live, Ariya Daivari and “The Extraordinary Gentleman” Jack Gallagher have been embroiled in one the most intense rivalries of the year. Gallagher’s unorthodox in-ring style has been a constant source of frustration for Daivari.
Following a loss to Rich Swann on Raw, Daivari blamed Gallagher, saying he was more concerned with the potential of the Englishman interfering in the match. In response, “The Extraordinary Gentleman” approached Daivari, who called Gallagher a “scoundrel” to his face.
Deeply insulted by Davari’s slanderous words, Gallagher challenged his rival to a duel before slapping him across the face with a glove.
Daivari and Gallagher are set to close out 2016 in unique fashion with the first-ever Gentlemen’s Duel on WWE 205 Live. Will it also herald the end of their rivalry or just further deepen their mutual animosity?
