Elimination Chamber 2018 (Live Coverage & Results) - Ronda Rousey Signs Raw Contract, WrestleMania 34 Main Event To Be Decided

Tonight’s Elimination Chamber 2018 PPV is airing live from the T-Mobile Arena in the Las Vegas Valley, in Paradise, Nevada. This is the final Raw exclusive PPV as WWE won’t be doing brand exclusive PPVs after WrestleMania 34.

Former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey will officially sign her Raw contract tonight and the main event of WrestleMania 34 will be decided during the Men’s Elimination Chamber, where the winner of this match will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 34.

Below is the match-card for tonight’s show:

– Men’s Elimination Chamber Match: Braun Strowman vs. Elias vs. Finn Bálor vs. John Cena vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. The Miz (Winner faces Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 34)

– Women’s Elimination Chamber Match For The Raw Women’s Championship: Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Bayley vs. Mandy Rose vs. Mickie James vs. Sasha Banks vs. Sonya Deville

– Asuka vs. Nia Jax (Nia Jax will get added to the Raw Women’s Title match at WrestleMania 34 if he wins)

– Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) (c) vs. Titus Worldwide (Apollo & Titus O’Neil)

– WOKEN Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt

– Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Miztourage (Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas) [Kickoff Show]

In the Kickoff match, the team of Gallows & Anderson pick up the win after hitting the Magic Killer on Axel.

Winners: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

The main show begins with the first ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match and it is for the Raw Women’s Championship!

Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss makes her way out first, followed by Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Absolution members Sonya Deville & Mandy Rose and Bayley.

Sonya & Bayley are starting the match. Sonya & Bayley wrestle for 5 minutes when the first pod opens and Mandy Rose is the first women out.

Both Absolution members double team on Bayley, until the second pod opens and out comes “The Boss” Sasha Banks. Mandy Rose is the first woman eliminated from the match when she taps out to Sasha’s Bank Statement!

Eliminated: Mandy Rose

Next woman out of the pod is Mickie James, which means the Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss will enter last.

Mickie eliminates Sonya after hitting the following move from the top of the pod:

Eliminated: Sonya Deville

Both members of Absolution have been eliminated. Mickie is the next woman eliminated when Bayley hits a Bayley to Belly.

Eliminated: Mickie James

Alexa Bliss’ pod opens next and Bayley & Sasha are looking to double team on her. Alexa’s pod opens and she refuses to come out of the pod.

She eventually comes out of the pod and they all are now climbing up of the Chamber and Alexa & Sasha are now standing on the top of another pod now.

Sasha tries to help Bayley get on top of that pod at first, but turns on her and kicks her down!

Alexa Bliss eliminates Bayley next!

Eliminated: Bayley

Alexa goes on to hit a DDP on Sasha to pin her and retain the Raw Women’s Championship!

Eliminated: Sasha Banks

Winner: Alexa Bliss (Still Raw Women’s Champion)

Alexa Bliss will now head into WrestleMania 34 as the Raw Women’s Champion (she entered WrestleMania 33 last year as the SmackDown Women’s Champion).

Up next is the Raw Tag Team Championship match between The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) & Titus Worldwide (Apollo & Titus O’Neil).

The Bar retain the Raw Tag Team Titles once again when Cesaro pins Apollo to get the win.

Winners: The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) (Still Raw Tag Team Champions)

Up next is a Women’s division match – Asuka vs. Nia Jax. If Nia manages to defeat Asuka, then she’ll get added to the Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 34.

The match ends with Asuka managing to remain undefeated and pins Nia Jax to win the match.

Winner: Asuka

Nia Jax isn’t happy with her loss and she destroys Asuka after the match!

Up next is WOKEN Matt Hardy vs. Bray Wyatt. After back & forth action, WOKEN Matt Hardy DELETES Bray Wyatt and picks up the win after hitting a Twist of Fate!

Winner: WOKEN Matt Hardy

Up next is the Raw signing of Ronda Rousey. Kurt Angle, Stephanie McMahon & Triple H make their way out. Triple H talks about Ronda’s accomplishments and puts her over by calling her the “Baddest Woman on the Planet”!

Ronda Rousey makes her way out of next. Ronda says she’s speechless and she puts over Kurt Angle. “Ronda Rousey” chant breaks out and Ronda gets emotional.

UFC Fighters Cain Valasquez & Daniel Cormier are ringside for this segment. Triple H reveals Ronda’s contract details and she hasn’t asked for any special perks.

Triple H says by signing this contract, she will be competing in a non-title match at WrestleMania 34.

Ronda senses something is wrong and she notices it on Kurt’s face and she asks if he wants to say something. Kurt recalls Ronda taking down HHH & Steph back at WrestleMania 31.

Triple H tells Kurt to shut up and takes him out of the ring saying he was in the hospital this week due to flu and needs some time off.

Angle then gets on the mic again and says Stephanie told her that Ronda is a has been. Ronda gets angry after hearing this and gets in Stephanie’s face.

Triple H gets in the ring and calms Triple H down, but Ronda doesn’t back down from “The Game” either and puts Triple H through a table!

This leads to Stephanie slapping Ronda! Stephanie then talks some smack and immediately gets out of the ring.

Ronda signs her Raw contract and the segment ends. This definitely isn’t over between Ronda & Stephanie!

Up next is the main event of the evening, the first ever 7 man Elimination Chamber match. The winner of this match will go on to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 34.

Elias is the first man to enter the ring and he sings a song. He’s interrupted by “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman. It should be noted that Elias will be the final man to enter this match.

16 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena makes his way out next, followed by “The Big Dog” Roman Reigns.

This means Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and Intercontinental Champion The Miz will start the match. The first man to get out of the pod is John Cena.

“The Big Dog” Roman Reigns is out of the pod next and he puts down all of them one by one with uppercuts. Reigns now comes face to face with Rollins.

The Miz attacks Reigns from behind and ruins their moment. Braun Strowman is the next man out of the pod and he’s taking everyone out!

Strowman and Miz get on top of a pod and Strowman throws Miz from the top and on to the other wrestlers!

The Miz is the first man eliminated from the match by Strowman after a running Powerslam.

Eliminated: The Miz

Elias is the final man out of the pod. Reigns, Cena, Rollins & Balor team up to hit a Shield Bomb on Strowman, but he kicks out!

Cena then hits an AA on Strowman, but he kicks out. Reigns nails a Spear on Strowman, but he kicks out again. Rollins now hits a Curb Stomp on Strowman, Strowman wisely moves to the outside on the floor where Balor hits his finisher on him.

Strowman hits a Powerslam on Elias and eliminates him.

Eliminated: Elias

Cena jumps on Strowman from the second rope, but Strowman catches him and nails a Powerslam to pin Cena!

Eliminated: John Cena

Balor hits Strowman with everything, including his finisher, but he still can’t put Strowman away. Strowman nails a running Powerslam on Balor and pins him!

Eliminated: Finn Balor

All four men that have been eliminated from the match till now all got pinned by Strowman!

Reigns & Rollins now team up to face Strowman. They beat up Strowman out side the ring and Rollins suddenly turns on Reigns.

Rollins hits a Buckle Bomb on Reigns in the ring, but Reigns uses the momentum and nails a Superman Punch on Rollins!

Reigns picks up Strowman and hits a Samoan Drop on the outside floor! Rollins is on top of a pod now and hits a Frog Splash on Strowman all the way from the top!

Rollins goes for the pin, but Strowman kicks out. Reigns & Rollins are now looking to hit the Shield Bomb, but Strowman fights them off.

Strowman nails a Powerslam on Rollins and pins him!

Eliminated: Seth Rollins

Strowman has now eliminated all 5 men from the match till now. Only Strowman & Reigns are left now. One of these two men will challenge Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania 34.

Strowman comes running at Reigns and misses and he goes through the glass of the pod! Reigns nails two Superman Punches on Strowman and now looks to hit a Spear, but Strowman counters and is looking to hit the Powerslam, but Reigns counters and hits two Spears to pin Strowman!

Eliminated: Braun Strowman

Winner: Roman Reigns (New #1 Contender For The Universal Championship

The main event of WrestleMania 34 has been set: Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship!

However, the night is not over yet. Strowman gets up and nails two Powerslams on Reigns! Strowman ends the night by putting Reigns through a pod!
