Below are some top news stories of the day, involving Eric Bischoff and Commander Azeez.

• Eric Bischoff, a longtime critic of All Elite Wrestling, recently took a jab at the promotion after his appearance on the December 3rd episode of WWE NXT.

When a fan criticized him on social media for NXT’s viewership hitting a year-long low of 593,000 during his appearance, Bischoff responded by pointing out that AEW’s Dynamite episode on December 4th drew slightly fewer viewers at 586,000.

He highlighted WWE’s continued dominance over AEW and teased the minute-by-minute ratings to emphasize the point.

Bischoff: And STILL beats AEW. Did you see the quarter hours? You should see the minute-by-minute numbers!

Eric’s NXT appearance included participating in a face-to-face confrontation between Ridge Holland and NXT Champion Trick Williams ahead of their title match at Deadline.
