• Eric Bischoff On Bruce Prichard’s WWE Future After Vince McMahon’s Retirement

Legendary WWF/WWE promoter Vince McMahon retired from all of his positions (including ‘Chairman of the board’ & ‘Head of WWE creative’) after the ongoing hush money & sexual misconduct scandals, which led to many people wondering what would happen to his right-hand-man Bruce Prichard (fka Brother Love on WWF TV).

There were talks that Bruce would instantly take over the ‘Head of WWE creative’ position from Vince, but as we reported, that position was taken by McMahon’s son-in-law ‘The Game’ Triple H.

WCW Legend Eric Bischoff is a friend of Prichard as they both have the 2 most successful wrestling podcasts with Eric’s ’83 Weeks’ and Bruce’s ‘Something To Wrestle With’, both hosted by Ric Flair’s son-in-law Conrad Thompson.

On the latest episode of his podcast, Eric had the following to say regarding’s Bruce Prichard’s future in WWE:

“I can’t imagine that Bruce is going to do anything other than continue to be successful in WWE.

Here’s history and politics, some of it I’m aware of, some of it I’m not, to be honest. But let’s just put personalities and politics to the side for the moment.

You can’t make them go away because they’re always there, but let’s just put them off to the side. You’re Triple H, you’ve got a pretty big job ahead of you getting that locker room from a human resources point of view, you’ve got a pretty big job ahead of you right there.

And you need to start focusing on talent; you can’t take your foot off the gas and get back to that six months from now because there’s going to be a point, some time, and that six month is going to go, ‘Whoa, wish we wouldn’t have taken our eye off the ball.’ You’ve got to keep that process running, and I’m guessing I don’t know Triple H on a personal level, but I do know him from working with him.

He’s going to be pretty hyper-focused. He’s going to have to hyper-focus on multiple things, but that’s one thing he is going to be really focused on.”

As of this point, Prichard remains on the creative team with Triple H having the final word, when it comes to booking decisions.

Bruce has been working for the World Wrestling Federation (later WWE) from 1987 until 1991 and again from 1992 till 2008, before he returned yet again in 2018.
