• There Is No Room For Roxanne Perez’s Boyfriend In NXT, Says Shawn Michaels
Drake Morreaux’s time at the WWE Performance Center has come to an end. On the latest episode of WWE LFG, NXT Head Booker Shawn Michaels delivered the news to Morreaux after his match against Tristan Angels. Morreaux was called into Michaels’ office, where he was informed there is no current spot for him in NXT and that he is headed to AAA in Mexico.
“You’ve been here for how many years now, almost three. And look, all of the coaches, everybody here, speaks extremely highly of you.
The reality is though, after a certain amount of time, we have to make decisions about how much more time and investment we’re gonna put into somebody before they start to get this. So with that said, unfortunately, your time here at the PC is going to be over with.
The reality is, we simply just do not have a place for you right now in NXT. But, the other side of that coin is, there’s a huge opportunity for you in AAA.”
Morreaux later met with The Undertaker, who coached him during season one of LFG, on the same episode.
Drake Morreaux signed with WWE in 2023. He is the boyfriend of RAW star Roxanne Perez and has competed in NXT, EVOLVE, and even wrestled The Authors of Pain in a Tag Team match on SmackDown in 2024.
