The wrestler formerly known as Jake Something appeared on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite under the name Jake Doyle, aligning himself with The Don Callis Family. The appearance marked his first outing with the company following the expiration of his TNA contract.
According to Fightful Select, Doyle signed with All Elite Wrestling shortly after his deal with TNA expired on January 1. At one point, that contract had been expected to run well into 2026, but negotiations did not result in an extension.
Doyle’s on-screen placement also signals how AEW plans to use him. He is expected to work regularly alongside Mark Davis, with Kyle Fletcher now positioned primarily as a singles competitor. The shift effectively fills a gap within The Don Callis Family’s tag and heavy-hitter structure.
