• Ex-WWE Wrestler & Her Partner Walked Out Of Tonight’s AEW Collision After Refusing To Lose

Nixon Newell (fka Tegan Nox in WWE) and Miranda Alize’s AEW run has already ended just two weeks after their debut. The Tag Team first appeared backstage alongside TayJay on Collision, and made their in-ring debut last week against Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir, where they came up short.

According to PWInsider, Newell and Alize were originally scheduled to face TayJay and take a loss on tonight’s Collision. However, they objected to losing back-to-back matches and walked out of the taping roughly an hour before showtime.

Hyan and Maya World, who lost to Tay Conti and Anna Jay tonight, were brought in as replacements. They were praised by people within All Elite Wrestling, who noted that their professionalism reflected well internally.

Alize took to X when the match was taking place and tweeted:

“We have SOOOOOOOO much to say ……………”

She also retweeted posts in support of her and Newell during the broadcast. Newell did not comment on the matter, but retweeted her partner and fans’ posts about the situation.
